Today I called M$ to see how my return was going (this after a month of waiting, sheesh.) This is how the call went…
Me: Hi I’m calling to check on the status of my return
Her: Ok… can I have your customer Id number please
Me: I dont have one… my case had to be sent to escalations because I returned it out of the 45 day grace period.
Her: Ok… your last name please?
Me: ..
Her: Ok. It seems… that it was denied…. (Me: WTFUX?!)… because the SR number was invalid. It’s on its way back to you right now.
Me: It’s definately Valid. I have over a months worth of Email logs from ‘HelpfulGuy’ and they all have that number in it. Read me back what you have
Her: *reads number exactly*
Me: Thats exactly what I have.
Her: Ok… lemme check on something for you…
Me: (aggrivated) ….
Her: It appears that the number was typed in incorrectly. I’ll resubmit this to…
Me: w00t! *power up*
Her: … the returns center and we’ll have your refund out to you shortly.
Me: w00t!
