15 February 2005: “TechTV” dropped from name
Now: G4 Sucks.

Many Free (as in beer), and often Free (as in speech) content is now emerging on the internet.

Systm: This is a show produced by Revision3 (aka, Kevin Rose and Crew) aimed at the slightly Geeky “Joe Computer User”. They’ve so far covered topics such as A Warspying box, MythTV, AV Cables, Podcasting and a slightly Shorter episode (cleverly dubbed a “subSystm” ) that covers how to crack open the iPod Nano. There are direct downloads for older files, but using Bittorrent is highly encouraged.

theBroken: This is an awesome series. Aimed at Joe Hacker/Script Kiddies, thebroken has made the most notable project of a Self-Destructing h4×0R Laptop. (Using Thermite)

Diggnation: This is a weekly (?) production by Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht. Alcohol is a common theme in these shows, but the main focus is on the fronpage news from Digg.com, A Social Bookmarking News Site, which is owned and operated by Kevin Rose.

Inde Stuff:

TWiT (aka This Week in Tech) is a weekly Audo Podcast aimed at the wide Nerd Nation of the world, and has listeners all over the world. Organized by Leo Laporte, The Cast usually consists of fromer TechTV Employees. This is one of my Favorites. ^_^ Video Has recently been made availible at Revision3.com
