From Digg:

Arrested for being a geek.

“The police decided that wearing a rain jacket, carrying a rucksack with a laptop inside, looking down at the steps while going into a tube station and checking your phone for messages just ticked too many boxes on their checklist and makes you a terrorist suspect.”

A) He should be happy they didn’t go for a headshot
B) That guy needs his stuff back.
C) They should expunge the record of this incident
D) They should Apologise
E) He should sue
F) Scotland Yard needs a kick in the balls, too.

Someone Needs a Swift Kick in the balls

Filed under: Rants — jimX @ 3:50 pm

This is getting out of hand.

From http://www.tigert.com,

“Now, we need to understand that listening to music on your computer is an extra priviledge.”
No it’s not. We Paid to be able to play said music wherever we want.

“Normally people listen to music on their car or through their home stereos”
Not Me. Winamp and my PSP. I dont even own a working CD-Only Player.

“If you are a Linux or Mac user, you should consider purchasing a regular CD player.”
Do You make CD players or somthing? Afraid to loose market share to the MP3 (NO DRM… w–t!)?

“Finland, the model of the Information Society, my ass.”
I (sorta) agree. I don’t know about finland, but in the USA the RIAA Needs to be kicked in the balls. Every one of ‘em. Artists included. Although I have no political power, I’m goint to write a piece of Consumer Right’s Legislation and present it to every Congress Critter, Senitor, Govenor, etc, I can find.

Who’s With me??

I’ll setup a wiki Later
